Follow these steps to get fully protected on iPhone, Android, and Windows in under 2 minutes.

iPhone / iPad Setup

Important: Disable conflicting Apple features first

Apple's iCloud Private Relay and IP tracking features bypass your VPN and must be turned off before connecting. Our VPN provides far superior protection.

Settings to Turn OFF

iCloud Private RelayCritical

Settings ? [Your Name] ? iCloud ? Private Relay

Routes Safari traffic through Apple servers, bypassing your VPN entirely.

Limit IP Address Tracking (Wi-Fi)Critical

Settings -> Wi-Fi -> tap your network name ? ? Limit IP Address Tracking

Conflicts with VPN IP assignment and causes connection instability.

Limit IP Address Tracking (Mobile Data)Critical

Settings -> Mobile Data -> scroll down ? Limit IP Address Tracking

Same as above but for mobile data connections.

Private Wi-Fi AddressRecommended

Settings -> Wi-Fi -> tap your network name ? ? Private Wi-Fi Address

MAC address randomization can cause VPN reconnection failures.

Connect with WireGuard

Install WireGuard
Search "WireGuard" on the App Store and install it. It is free and takes under 30 seconds.

Disable the settings above
Follow each path listed above and toggle the setting to OFF before proceeding.

Log into Wana VPN
Go to vpn.wana.co.za, sign in with Google, and make sure your subscription is active.

Open Family Controls
Click "Family Controls" in the sidebar. Your child device profiles will appear here.

Tap the QR code
Click on the small QR code thumbnail. A large, full-screen scannable QR code will appear.

Scan in WireGuard
Open the WireGuard app -> tap the "+" button ? tap "Create from QR Code" ? point camera at the screen.

Activate the tunnel
Tap the toggle next to the new tunnel name. Your device is now fully protected by Wana VPN!

Android Setup

Install WireGuard
Search "WireGuard" on the Google Play Store and install it.

Log into Wana VPN
Go to vpn.wana.co.za and sign in with your Google account.

Open your dashboard or Family Controls
Navigate to the tab where your profile QR code appears.

Tap the QR code to expand it
A full-screen QR code will appear, ready to scan.

Scan with WireGuard
In WireGuard, tap "+" ? "Create from QR code" ? scan the code on screen.

Toggle the tunnel on
Tap the switch to activate. You are now protected!

Windows Setup

Log into Wana VPN
Go to vpn.wana.co.za and sign in with Google.

Download the Windows app
Click "Download Windows App" on your dashboard. Run the installer.

Log in with your email
Open the Wana VPN desktop app and enter your registered email.

Click Connect
The app automatically provisions your tunnel and connects. You are instantly protected.
